Save-on had a two for one deal but they claimed their regular price was 37.99 per pound.

I was at Triftys this morning at 830 and pick-up 10 X rib eyes. Had a good choose and the butcher said he has cut steaks from the roast they have for today. I guess they are selling well. As I walked away from the meat counter a guy came up and started going through the steak and picking up some. I saw the guy at the check out, he was a head of me.

He purchased $400+ worth of steaks for his deepfreeze. He said he purchased a couple steaks yesterday and tried them and they were excellent..

Picked up some whole (head on guts in) flash frozen albacore tuna last weekend from goodfish for $5/lb at Steveston fisherman’s warf… I thought it was a pretty good price and bought 50lbs. Buddy has a bandsaw so we are going to cut it up this weekend and find out how it is.
If there are better tuna prices around I’d be glad to hear.
