That is pod wet dream shot right there!Moving forward with the build, Installed the rub rail yesterday, but more importantly I feel ok today. The rail is solid and looks great. Started from the bow and worked back, all came together pretty easy but wow what a work out.
Still need to do a couple things like glass in all the hardware and finish the end caps.View attachment 87129View attachment 87126View attachment 87127View attachment 87128View attachment 87130
Speaking of the pod, you have to nail the color and finish on it now. It has to look factory(ish) or you'll ruin this boat. No pressure. That is pod wet dream shot right there!
Don’t forget about nailing the waterline.Speaking of the pod, you have to nail the color and finish on it now. It has to look factory(ish) or you'll ruin this boat. No pressure.
Oof, good point.Don’t forget about nailing the waterline.
I’m not a powder coat fan but if you do the surface prep properly and use epoxy below the waterline all holes drilled beforehand etc etc it will last a reasonably long time.Speaking of the pod, you have to nail the color and finish on it now. It's not my cup of tea, just a few other sickos on here! I have no desire to pod anything after watching your and others' hard work. It is looking good, it will definitely be better than any 200k new boat when she is done. Pod ordered? One thing at a time guys, but I’m starting to shy away from power coating.
Look you you started @kaelc with your pod wet dream fantasies
