Also tried to figure out why the deck looks crooked from the inside only. The floor to deck heights are equal on both sides and everything was fitted and propped equally. I ended up taking measurements of the chain locker divider and found it was off centre over a inch. Few more things getting done while we are figuring out a way to make a template and install the stringer. Finished glassing the ply on the bow deck. Scrapped the template of the old stringer as it wasn’t sitting right. Made a template from the outside of the hull and it fitted in perfectly. The stringer still needs to be trimmed down 5/8 and wrapped, then will be set down on a layer of polybond. Hoping to level the stringer and still have roughly 1/4 of polybond between the stringer and the hull. As for the wedge up front, the only logical explanation we came up with is that during production they used the wedge to level the stringer by tapping it into place. I don’t see a need for the wedge right now, so no wedge. Ron also wants to lay one mat down under the stringer before we even start. This laminated ply is definitely heavier than the spruce, I’m not complaining. All in all I’m very pleased with the curve of the stringer, here’s a few pics of how it’s sitting.

Which Pod?! LoL , it’s sitting outside still having Covid symptoms, covered in a rash of powder coating that hasn’t been sandblasted properly, I’m thinking to fill it up with water and see if it leaks. I even bought a spool gun attachment for my MIG and welded a couple pieces of aluminum together, now I’m ready to start another thread of me building my own pod. But there is a plan C. Drop my boat off for motors in May and have a new pod designed and built the same time in-house.

David from Lordship marine said he will take care of it. I guess his brother Peter runs Adrenalin in the same building and they will design and fabricate the pod. I guess that’s kind of in house? I know the design is in good hands with many years of experience behind them.

I'm sure it would work if you did some repairs. However why do all the things your doing and then install that thing? Your on a path of an epic boat build.

I wonder where they're at in terms of transom reinforcement and glass work? Since you have Ron tied up in the basement like the gimp from Pulp Fiction, the rest of us gotta find a way forward...

Don’t do it! The “rake” needs to be more than that if it’s designed to break free on plane and less if it’s supposed to follow the hull line. Here’s one I’m just about finished.
