Capilano River Mouth Chinook Fishery

I didn't have much luck yesterday but other people were netting some fish. Still lots on the finder much further west of the marker.

Dragged a nice 13lb red up from the mouth on Thursday afternoon! Only saw one other fish caught and that was Bon Chovy who got a nice one that looked to be high teens...close to 20ish.

Ours and theirs were caught right off the marker at the Cap....90'....right on bottom....glow teaser head....herring....and a kick butt flasher that I have never seen before. I think it was called an e-chip or something like that? It is definitely on my shoppin' list.

never seen a fish held like that buddy looks lil confused yet happy, maybe even a lil liquored nice fish,, gonna try sunday, big herring and chovies on the brine right now[8D]

Ha ha......I saw the pic being taken and was cheering him on!! It kinda did seem like he was scared of the fish. []
