Canucks: 2011/2012

Offence will get you into the playoffs. Defense wins the Stanley Cup. Canucks can play technically good but uninspired hockey. There is little to suggest they will make it past the first or second round. While I wish it wasn't so, the Canucks do not have a winning culture.

Look at the records of both teams for the last 5 years or so. The Leafs can't even make the playoffs

The Leafs havn't even made the playoffs for the last 7 going on 8 yrs. If you think those 2 teams are similar you should quit watching and save yourself the torture. Just saying.

Can't believe they got Burrows down on the 3rd line. He's arguably their most versatile and dangerous forward with big-balls and a great work-ethic. WTF?

He has his speed back, but I doubt his brain is ok. He has not cut towards the net all year. He just takes shots from the wing. The odd one squeaks in, but he is generally useless! I would of dumped his arse at the deadline, even for a bag of pucks.
 
He stunk it up last night so maybe it's time to send him to the minors for a tune up. Log could escort him along.
