Browns Bay Reports?

I was passed right the "f" out... Not sure why but I started feeling like hell after lunch yesterday.
I can't go today Owen. Wife has an interview, and I'm tasked with taking kids to daycare and school, as well as some friend's of ours kid as well.

I feel like a school bus today :(
I wanted prawns. :(

Now I'll have to see if I can get myself out of the "pick up" portion today!.
Can't promise but will try. Depends on how unforgiven that's going to make me.
I could pay dearly but I'll try!

If it's raining though not a chance.. If she comes home like a wet dog from rain and the kids are all soaked I may get neutered.

Time to start the school bus...
(This is why you should never buy a diesel crew cab).
When it rains even your friends want to throw their kids on the bus!

Ok So yeah not getting out today, was and is too lumpy anyways. Solunar tables say crappy fishing today, and tomorrow, and Sat / Sunday are supposed to be good. Will try for that.
I can't get out of driving the short bus today.
Sorry Owen.

I knew you drove around in the short bus..... :) It finally goes public....LOL

Hahahah..
I was waiting for you to chime in on that. I be the driver, not the passengers!

Actually it was pretty cool to take my kid to kindergarten for once. Usually the wife does it.
I got to see all the art and spelling and stuff my daughter is doing. She's certainly in the smart section of the class which is good.

Last time I checked, segregating students into sections by cognitive level and/ or ability, was not an educationally sound practice.

I have to agree with that statement. I was feeling bad for some parents who's children went into kindergarten and not the K1 class. I mean how can they tell that on the first few days?

I 100% agree that it is not proper, but that's how they do it now.
What I meant was I have been teaching her to count, and spell / write since she was two.
She can count to 150, and write the entire alphabet, and read already at five. When she entered the class they were doing counting up to 5. Most kids now a days at 5 can use a computer better than us, and I wonder if the school systems are aware of that?

Back to fishing reports now.
May brave the rain if the wind dies.

Why did the wind stop??? Not much being posted unless it involves PM. Even the not so mighty ducks are entering into the chit chat. Pretty SLOW

Do you have some thing to ad? It has been windy for days. Wish I was out fishing. Hoping that the next 3 days turn out the way we have planed. Are you going to be out there?

Hopefully I will get out looking for some bugs soon. It was pretty bad prawning this summer. Will need to get some before xmas for sure. What has the prawning been like on your side of the pond?

Not sure about the Browns Bay Area I have never prawned up there. But around the Comox Valley prawning sucked big time for most people. I know guys that are still trying most of the local haunts and comming up with next to nothing. I bet we are headed for a closure.

Same on this side. The only decent prawning was north up Waddington. Long way to go just for a couple of sets though.

got invited to join some buddies fishing up there next weekend (Oct 1)...is that a little early for the chum run typically or should there be a few around? Not super important, as it's really just an excuse to get away from our wives and kids for a couple days...
Thanks!
