Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

That is decent value for this package even with exchange. I could see myself in one of these "Swiss Army Knife of Boats" in a few years! There was a similar sized or a bit bigger Ranger listed through Thunderbird Yachts and down at Stones for the summer. Not sure if it sold or not. I saw a few parties checking it out.
Would you prefer the outboard version or the inboard?

They’re actually not so slow with a Yanmar diesel and really nice inside, probably 18-20 knts.I did a short trip on one.
Agreed nice to see the electronics upgrade, usually a good sign. If nothing has been upgraded and no current list of major and minor service it would likely be money pit.

@Rayvon is that cruise or top speed? I looked at the 25 ranger tug inboard and remember having a phone call with an owner and determined it was more a retirement boat for me, due to a low teens cruise, maybe 13kn? I feel like he realistically said to me it’s a hull speed tug, so really a go far and go slow 7-8kn was ideal. The new ones with outboards are sure a different story. When I’ve been fishing too long or need to get home with the kids it’s sure nice to do 24kn, without burning 1mpg.

They both have pros and cons. My only experience with Yanmar was my teenage years on my dads boat which was a custom built 24' semi-displacement pocket cruiser based on a east coast lobster hull design. It was a great boat and would cruise at about 14 knots and only sipped 2 gph. That Yanmar turbo-diesel was gold! The Yanmars require regular maintenance of a diesel, but not really different from outboards in that regard. My twin 150 Mercs cost me $220 a side in materials to do a 100hr oil change with me doing the labour. I am not sure how that would compare to a Yanmar. If I was in the market for a boat and it had a good condition Yanmar with fresh water cooling I would probably jump on it. No I/O to worry about and heat exchanger problems are less of an issue. And I bet the new cost of a Yanmar wouldn't be an issue based on how much the costs of outboards have skyrocketed over the last few years.

Anyone taking a run at this? I was down at Pedder and Trevor said he got about 30 messages. Guess the boat market crash isn't here yet...
wow!!
I assume I am the only one looking a Kingfisher boat , made between 2005 to 2008, either a 24ft, or 25ft or 26ft Weekender, or model 2625 with 9'6 beam ( no luck yet)

Big new yanmars look to be really expensive. I don't know what he is valuing that radar at but nice trailer at least.

That is a very nice rig that looks to have been well taken care of. That Yanmar looks mint!

It is a pretty basic boat with twin 225 Evinrude outboards with 100 Hours on them.

$275,000 (it looks like it has been sitting for some time ) I am thinking it is a 25 foot with pod

Robert’s peaky sheer line is unmistakable. Wave smashing confidence.
Yeah, the hull design never ceases to impress me. It is really a well handling Sea Boat. We have been out in some really rough conditions in our
boat and it has always felt both planted and bouyant.
