Driven a 2825 a few times with the same motor. I'm wirh you in that that 30 should have twins. Both from an offshore perspective and when fully loaded needing a bit more power than that single

Interesting. Looks like they dropped it from 215k at one point. Base 3025 likely without rear steering and no trailer looks to be 250k with twin 150hp. Did the kicker have a tiller and autopilot? I couldn’t see a rear station.

Just enough. Lots of folks run twin 200s on the 282. Just depends what your use case is. Ecvi with normal loads twin I4s are good.

Yes, if they are the i4 according to a member who owns a 282. The v6 Suzuki 200 I think would be a great choice, but the smaller displacement motors may struggle with a big load and going over swells. My buddy had the old 200 yamis that were the same block as the 225 that year and it performed well. I’m a fan of Suzuki 200’s but that’s a big beamy boat

they ordered it from the factory , they did not want the rear helm station , and yes , it has auto pilot on the main as wellas a seperate one for the kicker on troll , really nice boat and solid trailerInteresting.
