Alaska Used Boats And Motors
1966 Bertram 25. 55,000 U.S. (no flying bridge)
25x10 Bertram overall length 29ft. Solid glass boat no wood inlay. Diesel heater to stay cozy durning winter fishing. Sleeps two comfortably in bow. Converted to outboards in 2019 and entire boat was rewired bow to stern at same time. 2 vhf’s with two new 10ft antennas, 2 gps 1 garmin 8610 with radar 1 smaller back up gps, 2 bilge pumps on floats or manual. Twin 2019 Suzuki df200a’s with digital tachs right at 1200 hrs. Oil always changed with Suzuki 10w30. impellers replaced about 50 hrs ago along with thermostats. Boat prices are all over the map. and there seems to be some demand for well cared for boats.
I had someone walk by our boat the other day while I was at the Marina for my regular checking on the boat and asked me if I would like to sell the boat. I asked him if he was a broker and he said no, he was looking for a 25 -30 foot boat that was well looked after that he could buy privately. He was down at the Marina with his pal (who I recognized ) and dock access is controlled, so it didn't feel sketchy.
Apprently, new higher quality aluminum boats have gone up substantially and this person was starting to ask folks if they would like to sell boat their boat that was built a few years ago.
I guess my grey hair, being over age 70, and a having a clean well turned out boat fits the demographic of his targeted seller.
He then asked me if I would buy another JaxonCraft and I told him in a heartbeat.
One of my neighbours (at the house) has a looks like new Trophy. I was out walking one day and saw him washing his boat. I went over to say hello, and the first thing out of his mouth, was my boat is not for sale .
I explained I lived a few blocks away and already owned a boat and I was impressed at how his boat is always in show room condition.
Nice guy, he told me people stop and come to his door a few times a year to see if he would sell his boat.

I don’t disagree. If the bones are good dropping 30k in it might make it a solid 26 foot boat, but if they are not it could easily become a 200k project worth 45k when done.

2015 R27 Northwest Edition. Tonto is a beautiful boat with 698 hours and is ready to go. New upgrades in 2025 include Garmin electronics, solar panel upgraded to 390 watts with new Victron controller, new cockpit enclosure, Newport inflatable dinghy on Weaver davits with 5 hp honda outboard, Rocna 15 anchor, Yakima roof cargo box, all new tires on trailer. Comes with lots of spare parts. We took Tonto to Alaska for the summer and the only mechanical problem we encountered was a sheared pin in the front bow thruster. Oil and filters changed every 150 hrs. Boat is presently located in Missouri but could possibly deliver.

Their actually not so slow with a Yanmar diesel and really nice inside,probably 18-20 knts.I did a short trip on one.

That is decent value for this package even with exchange. I could see myself in one of these "Swiss Army Knife of Boats" in a few years! There was a similar sized or a bit bigger Ranger listed through Thunderbird Yachts and down at Stones for the summer. Not sure if it sold or not. I saw a few parties checking it out.
