Pretty empty on details and trends. There are a couple of guys on YouTube pretty tied into the market who produce slightly better content, at times, boat buyers secret weapon guy and no regrets lifestyle for the trawler/looping boats. It’s too bad it’s not like the realtor YouTube game with tons of good and bad content
Is there anyone you suggest following Kael?Pretty empty on details and trends. Best I heard was an interview with one of the big west coast manufactures in the last month or so. Sales are good with Cash buyers, the rich are buying. The financing deals are done. The problem is just not a huge supply of bigger boats and hurricanes take their toll on the used stock. Definitely seeing some boomers to old or sick to use their boats selling but trailerable boats can be easily shipped and stay in high demand if they are clean nice units. Is there anyone you suggest following Kael?
From my perspective he’s speaking a bit more about sailboats and bigger non-trailer glass boats, however I read through most of the comments which suggest less demand, more supply, high inflation and generally less disposable income for many middle class Americans. We’ve seen things slow down here and my feeling is they will continue to do so… I don’t think his business is boats or economy (neither is mine ha), but none of his points caught me as illogical. Will always be cashed up upper class who will be waiting for the right boat or right deal, though not enough to drive demand.
Glad to hear other thoughts.

That Jeanneau looks like a nice family cruising and fishing boat. Where does a kicker mount? Does the swim grid detach easily enough to mount close in line with the main motor?2022 Jeanneau 695 series 2 quick price drop to 89kLog into Facebook

That is the rub on those multi-use boats, the kicker is an afterthought and will not align with the transom lip, necessitating some type of bracket. Or twins. I also thought one of those partial swim grids would have to be removed, one side is set up with a ladder and handrail so the other side would be the obvious choice. No trailer, 150hp Merc might be a bit light on power but a test would determine that. That Jeanneau looks like a nice family cruising and fishing boat. Where does a kicker mount? With a sawzall! Joking, it looks like there is a seam from the motor side photo but not the outside photo. Just call the broker and get him to go out and take photos of it or give you a video walk around. That Jeanneau looks like a nice family cruising and fishing boat. Where does a kicker mount? Unicorn 23 C-Dory Venture 23 with camper back. 55k usd. A little more expensive then I’d like with basic electronics but the low hours, canvas back, windlass and heater are great features. https://www.facebook.com/share/1AeuuULytV/?mibextid=wwXIfr
