Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Hey! That's the boat @Rain City looked at ...and didn't buy. Am I imagining things or is the asking price higher now than it was last year?!
Yeah I think he was asking $135? Or $129? Maybe he continued running it and had something blow up on him. Really nice guy and well maintained boat, but something tells me his wife wanted him to sell and he doesn't need the money.

Cool ...never knew SeaRay made a trawler model...bet she's built like a battleship

I get PM's and texts from members about boats, so some commentary here saves everyone a lot of time. There have been lots of boats I've posted that members have already checked out or know are dangerous, and it's great they commented. Nothing worse than sharing a boat and being ignorant that it is dangerous or FBAR. I personally didn't comment on the boat or post it, the owner sent me a nice enough direct message and I modified my moving on post. I wish there were pinned posts on here like on the Hull Truth. I've thought about posting elsewhere but I'm lazy. Everyone including me should have a thick skin, we are talking about our toys we aren't talking about condo and house prices, politics....

I certainly appreciate all the discussion on here, generally I think it is all with the intent of informing a purchase. Everyone likes to be aware of things to look out for, and no one wants to pay too much…or under/over (substantially) value their boat if selling. Yes there are always a few comment to filter out but that is part of the due diligence process, and nothing is more valuable then actually having a hands on look (second best is first hand experience from a member who has owned the same/similar boat).
Let’s keep the discussion going please.

We just gotta wait a few more years for the price to come down to a reasonable level. Dropped $50,000 since this was first posted by @brutus back in May.

Geez that’s a nice tub. My cousin just bought a brand new KF 3425 GFX this summer paid a little over 700k for it all rigged from Gibbons motor toys out here in AB. Beautiful boat for sure. But I couldn’t help but think if I was going to spend that kind of money I wouldn’t be buying a KF. Of course I would never tell him that. But yah if that 3425 is worth 700 and change then this one is definitely worth it.

Anyone ever hear of the company that made it? The thing about “custom” is hard to sell new and used, surprised someone would build such a big boat on spec.
make / manufacturer: AICustom 1106
model name / number: Ocean Craft 38
year manufactured: 2025

if they put 200 hours a year on a big motor? that has lots of rpms left in it.
The man has 1750 hours in 6 years so that’s ~300 hrs/year. Kicker only has 15 hours on it so maybe they used the main a lot for trolling?? Sounds a bit odd that the kicker has such little use.

Depending on the usage and conditions that may or may not have a lot of RPMs left in it. I usually run 100-130 hrs/year on my main and roughly around 150-200 hrs on the kicker. If I were to use my main for trolling, I could easily do 300/year. In 3 years, that would hit 2400 - 2700 hrs. for the big motor. It’s a clean looking boat and may sell fast.
