Do these have fuel tank issues? Does this fall into the years Yamaha 150s were problematic?

232 with new 300hp no trailer price drop to 90k https://www.facebook.com/share/1C2ECHZwnQ/?mibextid=wwXIfr
Yeah good deal. 19,500 including taxes for a trailer that could just handle it.Friend of a friend's boat, its the real deal. Can't believe its still available.
Seems doubtful that this is a real Whaler given the price and overall level of finish - but the power looks good for the price and definitely a nice overall size/setup if you are looking for something small/fast for a day on the water:

Probably has really good fuel efficiency with that new engine. If you plan a dozen 100-200 mile trips every year it could pay for itself vs a gas boat (with boat mathI am looking for a new family friendly boat and have many of the same requirements that Raincity had - the most stringent is outboard only.
This Monaro 27 is not outboard but checks so many other boxes. I would need to add a big bench seat behind the two helm seats.
I’ve never stepped foot on a Monaro. Any input from members. Is this worth exploring?
Is a diesel inboard such an awful thing? Seems like this is a boat that has been pampered over the years.
Thoughts? Thank you

Understand the desire for an outboard...but...if you are considering an inboard diesel, this is a great boat IMO

I don't doubt that someone might have a great experience with that boat, but I personally wouldn't touch another inboard with a 10 000 foot pole. Nothing makes me smile more than seeing my engines lift out of the water.I am looking for a new family friendly boat and have many of the same requirements that Raincity had - the most stringent is outboard only.
