I can’t see the ad but a friend of mine sold his 2002 2101 with a soft top a couple years ago for $50k. It was a nice boat, outboard, kicker and electronics, downriggers, just for reference

300 single Verado on my Cuddy King 240, 45mph and great hole shotCouple of guides in Renfrew run single 300 on nw 24-26 ft and a few Houston 26 with single 300, seam to do fine, single 300 on my 25ft and get 40mph light load, cruise at 30 4200 rpm with 2-3 on board. 90% of the time you can’t do 30 unless you like to fly, only @Stizzla likes to fly
The builder of Jasper Boats told me at the boat show that they will be making a single powered Defender boat, and using the 300. They think it will be a powerhouse too.
