That boat seems to be for sale every year. The owner three or four years ago sold it for $129k if I remember right...Sea Sport 2000 SeaSport 3200 Pacific 230 cad? Wish there were better photos, or a video. 350hp Suzuki outboards https://www.facebook.com/share/1BgKySX5EN/?mibextid=wwXIfr
Crazy with the zukes on it?That boat seems to be for sale every year. The owner three or four years ago sold it for $129k if I remember right...
If it was the one at Burrard Civic then yes. It was sunk previous to him and a shop did the engine refit.Crazy with the zukes on it?
Kinda remember that. Crazy how some people paying moorage relist and relist at basically the same price. If it was the one at Burrard Civic then yes. It was sunk previous to him and a shop did the engine refit.
I have talked to that guy a couple times. He hated the way that boat rode. He's owned many boats and says that's the worst riding one of them all. That boat seems to be for sale every year. The owner three or four years ago sold it for $129k if I remember right...
Yeah that's kind of the feeling I got when I talked to him. Only I was considering buying it, so he wasn't nearly as honest with me.I have talked to that guy a couple times. He hated the way that boat rode. He's owned many boats and says that's the worst riding one of them all.
That’s not the same boat. The one at Burrard for $124k was a freshwater submersion boat with Yanmar diesels.Kinda remember that. Crazy how some people paying moorage relist and relist at basically the same price.
Yeah, when my buddy had his whaler moored there I drooled over it as well. That’s not the same boat. The one at Burrard for $124k was a freshwater submersion boat with Yanmar diesels.
You can see it listed in this thread:

The one currently listed for sale is very clean - it is at Oak Bay Marina near the entrance/breakwater. The engines look pristine - and one thing I really like about it is that the entire engine (including the full trim ram assembly) sits completely out of the water.
My boat is a few slips away and I have been walking by this one drooling over it for a couple of years.
i think this was my neighbours boat, after he got it they did a full retrofit from a partial sinking. totally a fuel pig.Crazy with the zukes on it?
Yeah, I don't imagine they have the "Freeman" cat efficiency with all that cabin and flybridge. It's more of a ten of millionaires boat who doesn't care or a gulf islander boat? I'd imagine less than 1mpg.i think this was my neighbours boat, after he got it they did a full retrofit from a partial sinking. totally a fuel pig.
Very nice Ironwood with new 115 twins. I posted this probably 6 months ago. I guess he was trying to sell at the end of season, took it off over the winter and is now trying again.
If I was in the market for an offshore/near-shore centre console, this would be the one I'd go for. I think its great value (subject to inspection) - but we'll see what the market will bear.
I really love the simplicity of this setup and expect we could all learn a lot about quality boat construction crawling all over this thing.

I'm curious peoples thoughts, I am looking at a 2859 Bayliner with a Yanmar and B3. Nice rig but he says when its loaded it doesn't plane. Sips fuel at 9knts.
Been for sale for a year ( bad location), I would want to keep it for 3-5 years.
Wondering what the chance of reselling down the road with a non-planning boat would be??
