Looks like a decent deal if it checks out, twin 50's might be enough for a pretty flat bottom boat. The Silverstreak won't be a deal by the time you finish it. The Monaro has been for sale for a while I believe, might have something to do with the motor choice. Some people love them, but hard resale.C-Dory 22 - Twin 50's - 65k - Located in Bella Bella, Central Coast

Lot of boat for the money. I just resent it to my buddy but I think he is dead set on a locking cabin. Here's a better deal for someone - 1994 Monaro 24 ex with Pod - Seems rare - $39,950

Agreed, 150k for a new 22 C-Dory. If it has a windlass, radar arch and full cockpit enclosure it could be a great deal. Radar, fridge and wallas are getting long in the tooth but with only 500 hours on them, you might still get some good years out of them. You'd be pushing 200k after taxes for a new fully rigged C-Dory like that with a kicker.Looks like a decent deal if it checks out, twin 50's might be enough for a pretty flat bottom boat. The Silverstreak won't be a deal by the time you finish it. True. Sure does not look like Bella Bella. Probably on the island somewhere. Hope it's a legit listing.Wonder where the pictures were taken because im pretty sure there is no neighborhood in Bella Bella that looks like that

You could put a 1987 merc tower of power on there and be all in for 31,000!Wow what a bargain![]()
If they put everything back together and cleaned up the wiring they might get some offers. I don’t think they showed the seats in the original listing. Extended transom is nice as is the new gas tank. If one could find a used engine with controls and prop for 10k installed it would be a nice package if you could get it for 25k.You could put a 1987 merc tower of power on there and be all in for 31,000!
Still looks like it needs more than just a motor and rigging. It’s also a 26 year old hull. Has potential but $25k is too much for my cheap buttIf they put everything back together and cleaned up the wiring they might get some offers. It was me in a past life who did it.Beautiful boats, US Navy used Uniflights for PBR's in Vietnam.
In the mid 70's as a kid I'd go out fishing with my dad
on John Auchterlonie's Uniflight which was moored in Courtenays airpark marina,
John owned the "famous" bakery in Cumberland, I still call the doughnuts "Auchterlonies Doughnuts" and get them when up in valley.
John would tack in a straight line through the fleet of boats at the Red bell off Comox bar, at the time a very busy place with lots of small runabouts and tinners, some waving their fists at us as we trolled right on by....one night in the early morning his Uniflite ended up burning to the waterline ...always wondered if one of those angry owners of the small boats did it lol
Great memories!
Man if you could do the maintenance anyone would do well to split it with you. That’s a home on the water
I’ve seen a 3208s do million plus over the road and up to 20,000 hrs with basic maintenance
Not my cup of tea but man would I like to rent it for a month or two !
pretty awesome. Nice to see one in such good condition with lots of recent investment.Beautiful boats, US Navy used Uniflights for PBR's in Vietnam.

That thing is beautiful but it would nickel and dime a guy to death. Even if it’s been full refit recently, it’s still a twin diesel 40’ boat lol.the engine maintenance is the easy part
It’s the rest of Das boat that gets pricey
How much just for moorage
Definitely an interesting idea though
My buddy shares a 40 footer and it ain’t cheap, but neither is his two weeks in Hawaii he just took his family on. We are all going to die, but will we die having lived. If it’s in good condition it could be a great buy for the right person. Best ad I’ve seen for a while, motivated sellerThat thing is beautiful but it would nickel and dime a guy to death.
