My transom has an aluminum plate on it now to suit the longer leg. I guess I should have kept some of the test drill holes with dry wood. Nobody will trust that its dry lol.

Well I paid $2,000 so I'd expect at least $12,000 in return hahaha.

I heard people are buying sight unseen from the States or the other provinces, pay in full before pick up /delivery. So, a wet transom may actually not be a problem until after you take ownership.

Dude even dealing with a wet transom is better than paying 40- 50k for some of the boats I seen go by in the last 2 months
