I don’t have much experience with twins but the word I’ve heard from the streets is that counter rotating twins are more efficient than a single of the same power, so... if I were talking about, oh,I don’t know.... A 26 HOURSTON... I’d go with twin 150’s. Also depends on your pod style and how much rot is in your transom ;)

Pfft...twin 200's or go home! I have a buddy who owned a 255 Monaro with the same VP 320gxi DP as we have. Solid choice solid drive. He decides to build a new Monaro, same hull but with twin 150 Yamahas and he wont shut the eff up about how much better the new boat handles. I believe it to, having propulsion split and distributed with twins just seems way more stable to me. hmmmm...

Some cool rigs being listed/posted. That Zeta is a pretty sweet looking rig.

The Commander 26 w/ ETEC is cool too. I'd be wanted a bow thruster on that thing...single drive with a lot of windage forward might be tough for docking.

I love this boat, had it 8 years, and the family and I have enjoyed it immensely. But it getting too small, and the kids are growing too fast.
This boat isnt perfect, it has scatches and dings to the gel coat. But it handles all kinds of weather and is very fuel effecient.

The lift you get from the counter rotating twins creates the efficiency

The boat looks like it was painted with flat paint, no shine to the blue at all and no water mark on the bottom paint, Lipstick???

Looks like a rebuild, this is an email reply from seller:

"When installing the duoprop a new hole had to be cut to allow the larger transom plate. The wood was found to be wet as originally the cut hole did not get glassed in. The transom was dried, tested and in two locations resin was injected. The new hole was then glassed in. The swim grid mounts were removed, inspected, repaired and re installed.
The trailer has working hydraulic brakes, and some new brake lines.
Both axles have been replaced.
Its a 6 bolt hub welded to 2x4 HSS.
That being said, lights dont work and its not much to look at, but it carries the boat well."

Seems like an honest reply. How do you value a rig like that?! There's a lot of function there, with a lot of equipment, but there's also so much risk of looming repairs. I guess that's the case for every boat to varying degrees....
