Nope... 225 or 250 on a 23’ and 300 on a 25-26 is great. It was a 225 on a 26 I called out.

I believe I spoke with the owner of this boat before I podded mine. He said 4500rpm roughly 25mph. 37 ish wide open. This is going off memory.

I think that’s a good price for sure. Hes built a bracket to pack a dingy behind the outboard which is pretty cool.

Oh yeah! Don’t get me wrong. A little more Juice is great. These numbers are what’s “pleasantly acceptable” for the size on the deep v glsss boats.
A little under will get by too but they will work harder and lose some efficiency while not going as fast at the same time.
