Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Quick price drop for a nice boat to 155 for a 22 raider. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/674109935078922/
Not sure how it could possibly sleep 4 adults comfortably.
A 24 kingfisher just was just listed and sold for 125. It was in immaculate shape with a newer motor and autopilot/radar. While the raider is a nice boat... when it was new it was a 100K give or take depending on options. To be asking 150 for it when its 8 years old seems a little rich.... also not sure what year the change was.. but while current 2284 raiders are 1/4 bottom hulls the older ones were 3/16. Not sure what year it changed.

Maybe the seller “researched” his price

Which model kingfisher?

Do you recall the kingfisher model, did it have the front cuddy or open bow?
I’d like to get into a used 24’ ish with cuddy in the next year to 18mo… building a price baseline.

He may have priced out a brand new one and figured since he's only got 50 hours on his.. it's brand new? No disrespect meant to the seller. Just way to much for me. Maybe not for someone else.. funny thing about this market... I need to start selling bridges on market place.

Nice, I missed that one.
There’s a 2007 2525 in West Van on yatchworld for $90k that is currently pending. I didn’t look at it but the hull looked a bit rough in the pics.
From thunderbird? Yeah, I looked at in the snow this winter. Price drop I think.. was around 100 before.. dented nose and high hours.

Lol. I did get a price on a new (‘24) hewes pacific cruiser 240 a couple weeks ago, it was $235k which seems crazy as well. We’ll see how demand is over the next year here… I’ll take all the info I can get, there’s a lot of folks here that are far better educated on boat pricing than I.

Not for me but yes lots of guys want to go 40kn, which I doubt it could hit with a full load. I would guess it could 30kn, considering my 25.5 gets by with a 150. Not often you see a triple trailer and single main but I think that might be a broker or yard trailer.

40kn is the new 25kn!

Our boat will hit 40kn trimmed out. Slowing down to 25kn feels like you're c-r-a-w-l-i-n-g! Of course sea conditions will dictate the speed more often than the power on the back...

Yeah, when i have little kids and seniors on board, slowing from 25k to 18k quickly is pretty sudden. Maybe in a decade or two, I'll get up to speed and have to pocketbook to pay for 40kn, the kids will be grown, and the seniors won't come out as often.
