Couple of guides in Renfrew run single 300 on nw 24-26 ft and a few Houston 26 with single 300, seam to do fine, single 300 on my 25ft and get 40mph light load, cruise at 30 4200 rpm with 2-3 on board. 90% of the time you can’t do 30 unless you like to fly, only @Stizzla likes to fly

40mph is only 34.8knts. Too slow!

Only get a few days a year you can actually go 30+{ unless you like pounding your back and your boat) a few times a season, not worth it for this old guy. I see the guides pounding it out there everyday and no wonder by 5pm they all drunk

They dropped some coin on her. Tough to sell even at the “loss” he is taking. What do redone 21 to 23 foot Hourstons go for? If I was going bigger I’d consider offering it for 49k without the kicker and electronics. That’s how I sold my boat, but ended up just stripping thr electronics.

I can’t see the ad but a friend of mine sold his 2002 2101 with a soft top a couple years ago for $50k. It was a nice boat, outboard, kicker and electronics, downriggers, just for reference
