Out today. A bit windy, but still fiahable. Headed out to my favourite spot at Fairfax and for some reason I thought I'd try on the east side before my usual tack on the west side. Marking tons of bait and didn't take long until I started hitting fish. It was almost comical, abouut 10 fish, all around 60-61cm, then a double header. Solo landed both with a lot of excitement, a 73 and 76cm.

AP herring spoon and a west coast skinny G copy, whatever it's called on the bottom in 150 fow.

I gave coal a quick attempt this afternoon with my daughter after she got out of school.

Did my usual green spoons near the bottom 100-140’ and it was quiet with minimal bait around. Kiddo held on the bonker almost the entire time waiting to smash. Next time, kid!IMG_5867.jpeg

I take it that means you were the winner? If so, good on you, its was a tough grind out there in less that favorable weather

Was down there today and there is chains across both lanes blocking it off. There was one truck there with a empty trailer, so don't know if he has keys to the lock or not. Just telling you what I saw. When it does open it looks great.

I stopped in their office to ask in person that exact question....was told that any announcements on the ramp opening would be on the web site. ....
