I caught two springs in that crap few weeks ago at Kirby if it makes you feel better. It moved in one afternoon. Gold and red is your friend. Just match your gear with what the water look like. Maybe put on some flashy shiny things. Not impossible.

I've had some great days salmon fishing the blooms, and some lousy days too. Fish gotta eat. Although it is my favorite excuse for getting skunked,

bait is small, fish a bit deeper and fast. some nice fish this morning between Ohiat and Kirby.
coho in the mix now. just under the bloom at 50'. the whale show today was spectacular.
west coast tackle sex-e and wee gee with a hook upgrade pulled them in. every fish had micro bait in their guts.
