Started at SH 6:30am
2 in the box. 70 feet deep/ bait.
Just left. Orcas liked us for some reason.
250 plus boats at SH. Donkeys everywhere.
2 road launch gong show with donkeys that hold up the launch cause they want to put in, go back to their vehicles to carry all their stuff to their boats.
Saturday’s are when all the donkeys come out.

Ha Ha. But still closest launch to Sandheads. Anyone know what time they open the gates at the launch to let the donkeys in now?

Correct term is GOOGANS (Saltwater variety), Google it :) :) :)

The fish from yesterday herring aid flasher with green glow medium herring. Took two fairly big runs but the currents make it a bit easier to tire them out. Two man job to get it in the boat.

Nice fish...dont think your fish does yoga otherwise you'd be able to curl his nose to his tail...he may fit into your cooler holding that pose.

Bust for us at SH. Double header soon as we dropped the lines . Got tangled up together and all went to crap then the orcas started cruising right by us. Lost another one at the boat from a rookie mistake. Lots of shakers today and a couple doggies just to mess with the gear. Smoke and visibility sucked.

We started at 10T about 730. Shortly after 1 orca announced him by breaching 10 ft back of us. Group of them headed towards s arm so we packed it in and headed to sandheads. Got worse when we go tangled in a trap. Lost 4 clips and a cannonball. Rest of the day just 2 unders. Bloody thick smoke out there today.

Fished SH from 7:30 to 3. Went 3 for 3, the biggest being around 15. Saw the orca show as they swam right past us. I don't think it affected the fishing though. Lots of nets out today all day long but especially in the morning. Smoke on the Water.

You make it sound like you didn't have any fun ;)

Got out to SH by about 8am with my son and got stuff going. 10 minutes later an orca breaches 60ft away. I'm wondering if the day is shot. All the fish we saw on the sounder were gone. Around 11am we get one at 42ft on the wire in 190ft of water and it's a screamer and we have boats on either side and we're heading to the bell. No one is moving to let us out so I get my son to slow us down and veer left. The guy beside me got the idea and let us out and we got a nice 17lb white doe full of roe. A few of the boys need a little more practice with their boats it seems, in the water and at the ramp. Might go again tomorrow.

Was heading to SH yesterday at 10 am but decided to try West Van on the way. Ended up staying there till 5. At 1130 reel started screaming and a few minutes later it went slack. Sealed. Lost one when it jumped, landed one barely legal but decide not to take it. Boxed one 15 pound marble around 2pm. All action around the mouth of the Cap. Not many nets out at all.

Would you stay at sandheads or leave. ? Wegot
Tough afternoon at the cap. 0 for 3 with rookies on board. Called it quits after the guys trolling with deep six divers cut in front of me. Not sure if they were trolling for fish or cannonballs?
What are deep six divers lol
