Slay em while ya can boyz n girls. Fishing is ON right off Vancouver. Quite likely the best in 25 to 30 years.

I wouldnt doubt if our Good friends the Liberals and DFO use this slide stuff along with FN for total closure. Their mistruths are right out their. They contradict each other left and right. Crazy. Eg. FNs have not been fishing down stream. Laughable. In the mean time their openings are posted.......oh and of course.....not monitored. Wow.
Another.......weve been working on this for a few months said big John......funny slide wasnt spotted till beginning of July. Its Aug 7th. 1.5 months......oh and yes its confirmed slide happened Nov 2018. But we dont monitor the largest River on Canadas West Coast.....but First Nations are our largest Priority. Oh Really?. Their lies continue.

So get out there NOW and catch fish, have fun. With these fools running the show it might be your last chance.

Spin Doctors at their best.

Good day
Any suggestion for where a newbie can take his boat and put a couple of pinks in the boat?
Thanks in advance
D

Saturday can't come soon enough. After losing and breaking more gear on my trip last Thursday to Monday han in the past 4 years combined I am ready for redemption. Of course I'm setting myself up for a big fat skunk but I'm up for the challenge. Hope to see you all out there! Cheers and keep up with the reports!!!

Crazy good fishing off the South Arm today . Had our 2 Spring pretty quick on anchovie. Then a Pink took the 3rd anchovie. Switched over to small pink hoochie , and hit 2 more Spring . The white hoochie caught a Spring and Pink as well. Best depth was between 40 and 90 , never went any deeper . Caught fish in 200 to 400 feet of water .It almost didn't matter today , the rods just kept going off. Quite a few Pinks as well .

Anyone out today? New to the area and still learning how the different winds affect different areas. In a 19ft bayliner capri coming out of Vanier park. Any recommendations on where to go in these conditions?

I'm at the north arm, really blowing. We just tucked in to the breakwater as I'm in a 16ft aluminum. Got one 16lb right away this am then dogs dogs dogs. Gonna head out again soon.

Reading your reports was too much for me so at 2:00 yesterday decided to go out. By 4:00 we were on the water off North Arm. pretty bumpy then. Tried White hoochie, G Trap Force, anchovie. The hoochie and Skinny G did nothing until I added some chovie scent. Two dogfish to the boat. Lost 4 sets of end-tackle as well. I'm guessing to dogfish. ? Leader was not a clean break but raspy looking. Overall we covered a lot of North Arm area and over to the Bell. Didn't see anyone netting anything. Wish I had gone to Sandheads. Am hoping for Saturday

Wow north arm was lights out. Fished 11-2, couldn’t keep fish off. Multiple doubles. Anchovies were the only thing working for us, 50-70 on the riggers. 15 fish hooked. BIG fish, broke us off quite a few times. Kept our two, and both were reds

We had a killer few hours of the north arm used our bait up quick then put a white hootchie on and a pink squirt and was still slamming them ,I don't recall getting big springs on pink gear but was awesome to see and the white hootchie was lights out also , we ended up with over a dozen big springs and 5 pinks !!
