Black Belt? Yeah I thought so....looks like he used the traditional Karate poke-in-the-eye technique to subdue that last cohoNot to mention that death grip he finished it off with.

Eh Fog Ducker,
I stoped in the Nook Last Friday evening for some boat juice. Thought I would introduce myself. Garry said "you were on your way! should be here any time".
Maybe next trip we'll cross paths?
Last weekends fishing was as good for us as everyone else. Salmon Limits daily, lots of crab. Got into 5-6 lbs coho in Kelp Bay for the Kids. My twin girls(14) Were getting double headers with lots of air time. It was a blast.

Anytime we get warm warm weather the only time to travel the canal is early or late. Those thermal driven winds can get down right scary.

I never got to see Gary either as he was away in Port Alberni. We did meet Andrew and his wife who are new to the Nook this year. August should be a blast so if we can coordinate a trip we will have to have a little side wager.......

Friday we fished Swale and Kirby, lots of smaller ones again, seems there is Coho everywhere averaging 4 to 6 pounds. Kept an eye on the cleaning table at the Nook while on shore and the only slabs seemed to come from Sail Rock using anchovie. We fished mostly Coyote spoons at 70 to 110 feet.
