What's for dinner tonight ?

I have been wanting to make bread for years but never seem get my crap together and actually do it. I figured that if I don’t do it now, I never will. Here is my first attempt at sourdough. Looks good, but I’m letting it rest before cutting and tasting.
Think I may put some home made cold-smoked salmon, cream cheese and capers on it ...
Looks great. That’ll go real well with some cheese and the Note Bene in the background

Went fishing on Thursday....panko crusted halibut with jerk seasoning and spinach salad

Looks good RC!
I sat looking out at the Olympics eating a B.C. dinner: Black Creek rack of lamb, the last of our carrots pulled from the garden this week, spring cauliflower from our garden and spuds from friends in the Cariboo.

Man cooked to perfection. I like a medium-medium rare lamb rack. I think some people overdo it on the rare side and I find it's tougher that way.

So this is what I have to look forward to, NO complainants from me on keeping the bridge! Thank you for posting, awesome looking meal, and great memories in the making... That and stay safe ;)
We wouldn't dare attempt this out on the water lol.
