She was dry, about 6 or 7 years old, loads of fat, and weighed damn near 200 on the hoof.
Very tender and great flavor!

Finally got her converted to Natural Gas and she's being seasoned for tomorrow nights prime rib. Not going to put too much smoke on it more of an extra oven kinda deal.

Lot's of healthy deer coming around this year even with a lot of cat sign in our area.

Wife's been baking up some Christmas goodies. Home made butter tarts and Tiramisu with Kahlua and espresso cream liquor.

Something very different to most tonight, some may recognize them. These are a couple very traditional Holiday dishes. (Ukrainian dishes )
Kapusta - cabbage/pea soup and next to it is Studinetz, it’s a form of head cheese but with more garlic and it’s eatin as a side dish.

Wow...that takes me back to my youth when my Mom and her sisters would prepare all the traditional Ukrainian dishes for Christmas Eve. Yum!

Traditional (for us) Christmas Eve Fondue. Free Range Lamb, Free Range Chicken, Whitetail Tenderloin, Free Range Pork Tenderloin and all the veggies!

Served with a good Red by Candlelight of course!

Awesome as usual, and once again no room for dessert!!
