What's for dinner tonight ?

Have to love it when the first Sweet Corn of the year rolls in!
Matched that with some Prime Alberta Beefsteak, and airfried taters:

A Shiraz this time was the perfect compliment.

Nice looking meal Rain!
Do I dare ask about That Boat now?!
I've been in your shoes about being depressed about my boat. It sucks.
Thanks. No, don't ask. I've fished four days in five months. I could (and normally do) easily fish twice a week during this time. I've spent a small fortune in the past couple months and am constantly regretting my decision to push the budget and buy this boat.

Back to dinners... please.

Depressed about the boat so we decided to drop the kid off at grandma's and have a nice meal. Bone in ribeye on the charcoal. Bbq oysters. Truffle pasta and something green. A 2018 Sequoia Grove Napa Cab Sauv to wash it down. All I need now are some @IronNoggin doilies.

Awesome looking meal bro but you made a cardinal sin. You took that awesome looking ribber and cut er open to bleed out on the plate almost have to cry when I see that lol.

Sometime during the winter I made up a huge batch of Lasagna complete with whitetail, 5 cheese types, spinach & cottage cheese.
Froze individual sized pieces after vac sealing them.
Thawed out a couple of those and tossed them in the oven last night:

Complimented with garlic toast, a fresh garden salad and a fine French Merlot.

Another cold, wet & rainy day, may as well delve into the comfort food...

Perfect temp on the lamb. I'm not a fan of super rare lamb. And a nice looking consistency on the risotto. I like my risotto on the runny side. Like risotto should be ;)
