Twin Suzuki DF300AP + Full Rigging For Sale—-330 hours!

I have a pair of Suzuki DF300AP’s I’ve finally decided to part with for a re-power

These are the 2022 models… (I’m pretty sure with remaining warranty).

30" legs...only 330 hours

They are both strong runners….new crank case and gear oil, all new internal anodes + low pressure fuel filter—-this service was done in January 2026 so only a few hours on the most recent maintenance. New impellers installed at 250 hours

I am selling these with FULL RIGGING…twin OEM Suzuki stainless propellers, twin Suzuki digital throttle boxes appropriate for the fly-by-wire AP model. SUzuki ignition module + all wiring; C-10 Suzuki gauge, Suzuki start/stop panels + individual engine trim x 2 (wheelhouse + back deck)—-all the rigging for twins for both the wheelhouse and back deck

I am also adding an almost full set of Optimus 360 equipment——all cables + Suzuki Gateway + two (2) Dometic electronic actuators. The only missing equipment to have fully functioning SUzuki Optimus 360 would be the joystick…I am basically pulling 100% of the Suzuki equipment off my boat…those Dometic actuators for the Optimus 360 are pushing $4K each (really) and are in perfect operating condition

I’m thinking USD 35,777 for the full package but open to offers….hard to find low-hour 4 strokes in this condition and finding an operable Optimus 360 set up as an included option is very unique (and a huge bargain)

Location: Tacoma, Washington. Buyer could have the system installed where the engines will be stored.

The facility is fully Optimus 360 certified and could do the full install

The Seasport Commander is a HEAVY boat... 10 000 dry weight
The DF300'S fell off step at mid range and I constantly had to throttle chop when I had a full tank...unless I nudged up to 4k+ then I saw my MPG drop to .8
Alot of guys power their Commanders with DF350’S but I'm not a fan of contra-rotating props, especially when boating around lots of wood like Central Coast

I'm stepping up for twin BF350’s

Lots of performance numbers showing minimum 15% less fuel burn then any other competing 6 or 8 cylinder outboards on the market and they burn 86 octane

I bought my Suzuky 300 of a guy that had a seaport commander, he was running twin df 300, he went to the 350 twin prop, and said he did not gain a lot, from the short conversation I had with him. But his standard was a lot higher than mine lol. Twin df300 running 3x16x21 pitch 30knots at 3800rpm sounded awsome to me, not sure how much fuel he was burning,I sure he could afford it 😂😂

It's interesting how you see few Honda engines in bc .... if you see Honda outboard going against the tac..... you know American registration... just saying.

Good engine, service sucks on any Honda OB in bc , ex Honda owner, came from the US

I have a Honda in BC and a good guy to service it. 3rd season on it and loving it so far. Just hope my guy never retires! ;)
Hope for you he’s got a code reader, when the Honda lights up like a Christmas’s tree is when it goes sideways, Honda only allows Dealers to own code readers I was told 30k I was told for all they need, only guys who had one was Honda center in van, and I would never step foot in that place ever again. They are great engines from my experience. In the US they rock the boat world

Over the years I’ve owned several Honda kickers (9.9 and 15) and they were great motors…Smooth running, easy to pull start, and I loved the ability to drain the carburetors via a bleeding hose that you could empty into a cup (instead of into the guts of the motor, eventually to drain into the water)

I also owned their 150 HP V-etc which ran (and sounded) like a sewing machine.

These new BF350’s are getting rave reviews, both for low to mid-range torque with eye-popping fuel burn numbers…and the HOnda designers thought long and hard about making maintenance a little bit easier:

Wow, look…an intelligently designed (and placed) oil filter flange to keep oil from drooling all over the inside of your power head (unlike every other outboard on the market) to keep things tidy when you change filters:

I forgot to add the meat and potatoes:

$10K rebate per outboard if purchased before 30 April. Curious if that promo made it into the Canadian market?

Too bad there is not good Honda support in Canada. Shearwater got many thousands of hours on the Honda 50 when they had them on their lodge boats.
Agreed, in the US, lots of coast guard, federal boats, tons of recovery boat out fits, the all run Honda, lots and lots of Honda in the US, dealer support is in place across the country

Ps, I loved my Honda before it went booom lol, funny thing is I just seen it on MP for sale again, the guy who bought it did not fix it, sold it as a running motor, the poor guy who bought it blew it, back on MP as a parts motor now, some people are not very honest. When it comes to selling stuff

I just saw this performance screen shot from a 33 foot boat with a dry weight of 10,000 lbs…similar to my SEasport

25 MPh at 2,850 with 1.6 fuel burn (twin BF350’s)

My DF300’s would need to be ramped up to 4 K to get 25 Mph with a probable fuel burn of 1.0 - 1.2, depending on tank fill etc
