Hey guys,
As some of you may know based on my recent post in the boats/motors section, I’m now selling my counter-rotating Yamaha F150s in favour of going to a single 300 and a kicker. They have 25” shafts, 773 port engine hours, 771 starboard engine hours. I am selling the entire package (gauges, rigging, dual binnacle, and props). Props are 14.5 x 19 pitch Yamaha stainless. Digital gauges include tach x2, speed, and fuel management. I replaced the throttle and shift cables with nicer Uflex cables for more precise throttle control for trolling as my boat cannot accept a kicker with how far apart the twins are mounted. Majority of the hours are trolling, I would say 400-500, but would have to be confirmed via a scan.
The engines are original to my 2005 Pursuit 2470, and I am the second owner. The harmonic balancers have been replaced with the newest version from Yamaha as this was known to be a concern (receipts included). The engines have been meticulously maintained with Yamaha oil, Baldwin filters, annual zincs, semi annual thermostats and fuel filters. Leg oils done annually and impellers done roughly every 200-300 hours.
You will not find a nicer pair of used 150s on the market, they are 9.5 out of 10. Those who know my boat from around Nanaimo or those who know me on this forum can attest to the condition and care I take of my stuff.
The engines can be seen running on the boat, sea trialed, and/or taken to any shop of your choice if you wish for an independent mechanical inspection.
