Trailer mods after podded outboard swap

For guys that are podding really look at your trailer. From what I found our 3500 axle in my case doesn't cut it. We're overloaded with the pod leading to bearing failure

You have just been lucky so far your probally same weight but by the time we add all our crap on ours boats we are heavy..
 
It’s not necessarily the load being any heavier overall you might even be lighter but the weight has shifted further back bet your tongue weight is pretty light now. If you can shift your axle(s) further back on the trailer frame and or move the bow post forward that might solve the problem.
