What I was referring to in my post was the fact that we all have the choice of where we shop. Sorry I did not make myself more clear,so I understand how you were thrown off.

I would like to offer a big thanks to Darren at Island Outfitters for the great service. I was chatting to him and mentioned the ROD that I had purchased from another supplier that had badly corroded guides and he said bring it in as he is having lunch with the rep tommorrow. I dropped off the rod and was latter informed that the guides were been replaced with a better quality guide at Diawa expence. Again to or not support the small guy
