Hey all,
I am going to be motoring the boat over to Sooke with my two little girls this weekend and plan to stay a night or two at Sunny Shores. Figure I will tire them out in the pool and playground and get a couple of hours of fishing in while they nap in the cuddy.
I've never stayed at SS before -- I've been there a few years back. Hoping the pool is still open there? Is there safe anchorage anywhere near East Sooke Park in the basin if we were to take the dinghy to shore for a picnic?
Trying to get the little ones hooked on fishing so I have a couple of fishing buddies as they get older -- but have to play their energy out before we hit the water.
