Gorgeous. You are ahead of us. Our tulips are still keeping their heads down. We have polyanthus and snow drops plus the heather is perky. Crocus are thinking about blooming soon. What is the beautiful plant in the first image?

Seems like this is the last week of cold weather.

gonn a plant some early potatoes next week

sun just touched my property this week.... I'm tired of winter! I have fish'n to do, orders for over 50 downrigger balls and new gun builds to get shooting, freezer is in decent shape so won't be allot of pressure on spring bear hunting but will need 1 for sure.

It is a variety of helleborus specifically designed to bloom in late winter / early spring.

Always the first one to flower here.

Cheers,
Nog
Yeah, our resident hummingbirds love to check out our Hellebore plants, probably as it’s the only bloom in the yard at this time of year

Here in Kelowna, it’s not Spring, until the street sweepers make their first run.

@Clintr good to see you posting more. You still in the Enderby area doing the fab thing?
I am. East of Vernon around the backside of silver star. Part of our snow situation lol. Good to see your posting too. Seemed like you were gone for a bit? Or maybe I just missed your posts? And I know what you mean when the street sweepers come around. Here it’s not usually til end of March.
