Renfrew derby, anyone going?

Is anyone heading out for the coho derby on the wkend of the 30th?or has anyone been out lately to renfrew?

Was at Renfrew yesterday. Zero fish. Same for everyone else according to radio chatter. The odd boat had one fish. Couldn't keep the shakers off. Maybe next weekend.

Was at renny yesterday also. Boy was that river low first thing, took the first corner a little wide and ran out of water[B)] Didn't take much to push off and continue. Weather was awesome but fishing was slow. Managed to pick a nice fat coho first thing, a few shakers, headed out further but it was nothing but a boat ride. Seen a few nice ones at the dock. Need a little more rain to bring them in.

I had gear at 50 to 120 ft, what I hit the coho on was around 60 and was a small pink plastic spoon.

well there will be lots of boats out this wkend coming for the derby, should be a good indicator of how many coho are around
