O-FISH-ALL 2014 Vancouver, Howe Sound, Sunshine Coast Reports Thread!

hey guys just throwing it out there as my name on here is fishin solo I really am solo lol wondering if anybodys open to do some shared fishing or something like that as much as I love the peace and quiet by myself none of my friends like the water or fishing.

No tin foil hats, secret channels or secret lures required. The Silvers are in.

now that's something we have all been waiting for

Yep. They are there...local guides are generating action and with the tides being large right now, make sure you are fishing in the right areas at the right time.

Will be out fishing west Van tomorrow in the black double eagle. Hope to see some other members out there

Perhaps these people have a reason for trolling on their main.
h.e.h.

Yup: such as: charging up all the batteries, burning up older stale fuel, testing main engine reliability, and fishing a little faster than the kicker wants to troll at without running the bags off it in a running tide or more control, etc etc etc.

Out today no bites just loads of sun... what's up west van, howe sound... zippo... spoons, hoochies, anchovy wheres the salmon hiding?

Is that you Gary? I'll be out along west van tomorrow. Keep trying eventually there will be fish!

Joe

I tried West Van today 7-2. Tried hootchies, spoons and bait up and down, varied speeds. No bites for me and didn't see anyone into a fish.

I understand the reasons for trolling on mains I just see it more and more.

As for today

Fished the QA hard from 7 to 12 with nothing to show. Trolling back to the bell in about 250 feet of water had a large spring peel tine from my top line at 35' white orange tiger stripe spoon. Tide was pulling hard and the other rigger cable decided it would be better fishing diagonally across the underside of my boat. Line went slack and fish gone. Went to west van saw coho jumping bit no luck. Picked up the fiancé and went back past the bell and once again nothing.

Side note I asked if anyone had there foil out today. No responses. Anyhow I got a tan

Finally got into fish ....Fished westvan 4 -730 this eve hit 2 coho bonked one lol holy little guys not complaining ... I couldn't believe my rod was actually bouncing ,sure felt good ..water was perfect this eve . Cheers
