I always have a hard time wrapping my head around these numbers probably because I'm a cheap sob and spending that kind of money on fuel is something I will never be able to afford.

That's about 250 liters an hour at what... 1.8 2 bucks a litre... 500 bucks an hour in fuel...I guess when money is not an issue.

Glad someone got a pic of that rig, It passed me in the newcastle channel on friday, if i wasn't occupied with towing a broken down boat in I would have been taking some pics. What a rig though, pics don't do that justice.

Daily cost to run that boat are likely equal to my annual costs. I can comprehend 1,200 hp but 2,400 seems a tad excessive.
