For Sale 1992 Commander 30

I'm with Spring Fever & Gong Show, sounds like you have found a Mechanic that has solved your issues and you love the boat. If it's not a financial issue I would at least see how it performs through this year

Jesse has a top notch crew at McDonald’s for sure. Whether it’s you or a new owner, someone is going to have a beauty of a boat to make a lifetime of fishing and cruising memories.

Ya not looking for you to post numbers publicly, I know you had a lot into it in the end there before you sold it. Was hoping when the dust settled it wasn’t too bad for you.
Well the positives were that two of the major drive replacements were covered under my insurance because of a log strike. And the fact that I sold it for 20k more than I bought it for. Plus I sold about 15k worth of junk off it when I stripped it down.

The bad side... If I DON'T include fuel, moorage and insurance, she ran me about $20k a year in maintenance, repairs and upgrades over the 5 years I owned it. Sooooo call it about a $65k loss? But that put the cost of boating for me over those 5 years at about $30k-$35k per season, all in.

Plus fishing gear :/

It hurt a lot. If insurance didn't help it would have been about $50k more.

Running out to Bamfield for my first time solo and catching my first Hali on her. Plus all the other great memories. Priceless.

that hurts a little. What’s the plan with a new sled?

Looking every day. I think I'll land on something in the 24-26 range but I want a hard top and real glass. Probably won't get a full enclosed cabin for my budget though. Looking for newer than 05 hull and ideally power no older than 5 years and under 500 hours. I don't think I want aluminum. A flushing toilet is a must, but don't need a full galley or shower. The higher end budget is 120k. I really want to spend 50k less than that ideally. But it's looking like I'll need to spend 50k than that. For now the slip is subletted. I'd love to get something for September 1st, but if not, then I'll take the winter to find a good deal.

That virgin Coast Guard 23 Hourston is looking good at $85000.
