This fuel efficient boat is an extremely rare edition of the highly sought after Campion 622. The “Westcoast Edition” came from the factory with the outboard pod, "rocket launcher"/radar arch, cabin sunroof, raw water washdown, and radar. This is an excellent day boat for families to fish and cruise on, and a great boat for a couple wanting to do cruises of a few days at a time. Campion made these hulls virtually unchanged for 24 years. They were very successful on the west coast and particularly in Port Alberni.

The factory hard top and bulkhead with locking doors allow you to be warm and dry year round as well as keeping your items secure. The cuddy sunroof provides amazing ventilation on those hot days, as do the cabin sunroof and sliding side windows. The cuddy has ample room for 2 adults to sleep, and the dinette converts to sleep 2 smaller people. There is a factory plumbed toilet behind a privacy curtain. There is a sink, an icebox, and an Origo single burner alcohol stove for your morning coffee. The cockpit has a removable pedestal table, and an extra seat that folds down out of the way. There is a professionally made quickly removable bimini that provides extra sun and rain protection over the cockpit. There are colour matched interior window coverings that have not yet been hung, but are included. 2 Campion cleats have been added to each side of the boat for safer docking. There is a boarding ladder on the pod. A Bruce style claw anchor and rode that stores in a bow locker are included with the bow pulpit. There are 2 bilge pumps for extra safety.

In April of this year both the Yamaha 200hp 3.3L V6 EFI four stroke main (935 hours) and Mercury 9.9 four stroke ProKicker were fully serviced at LA Marine (oil in heads and legs, zincs inside and out, plugs, filters, etc). The main has a stainless steel prop. Kicker has electric and pull start, as well as power tilt. This means that the batteries are being charged when you are fishing on the kicker. It also means that if you manage to drain both batteries, you can pull start the kicker and wait for it to charge the batteries enough to start the main motor again. The kicker control box is in the cockpit. Kicker steering is connected to the main motor. Cruising speed is 46kmh, or approximately 29mph, or approximately 22knots. Motors have always been fresh water rinsed and never moored in salt water.

All electronics have been upgraded and include: Lowrance HDS Carbon 9 touchscreen chartplotter that is viewable when wearing polarized glasses and has radar overlay, chirp sonar, and built in wifi (so you can transmit and control the image from your device in the cockpit). The chartplotter can be set up as a "Glass Dash" to show all engine data. The most recent addition was the Lowrance Fuel Manager so you can see exact where the sweet spot is for economy. The sonar is so good that you can actually see images of your cannonballs and flashers. You can also create up to the minute charts as you fish, for far more accuracy than the government charts. A Navionics charting chip is included. The radar is Lowrance 3G broadband. The Icom VHF has built in GPS for added safety with DSC. There is a Dual stereo with USB and Bluetooth. All cabin, cockpit, cuddy, and navigation bulbs have been upgraded to LED. Both batteries were replaced last year and are connected to a 110V smart charger for maintaining at home.

There are 4 mounting plates and 2 receptacles for Scotty downriggers. The cockpit floor has a pair of built in fish lockers. There is a lot of storage where the motor was in the I/O versions. There are several bases for Scotty rod holders in the cockpit, as well as the 4 spots for rod storage in the "rocket launcher". The kicker has a prop guard too.

In May of this year the bunk trailer had an entire new surge brake system installed, and there were new hubs and bearings done at the same time. New LED tail lights were added. The manual winch has low and high speed settings. Rims are alloy and the tires are in excellent condition. There is a spare tire and rim mounted on a bracket on the trailer. The trailer brakes have an easy-to-use freshwater rinse system. Boat and trailer are estimated to be under 5000 pounds.

We have just had a marine survey done, you can view that, and the buyer will receive a copy for their insurer. Everything has been professionally maintained, and I have the receipts for this. No expense has been spared in the setting up and maintenance of this boat. Selling this boat has come as a surprise and the reason for the sale is we bought a bigger boat!

This boat and trailer package is a 8+/10 cosmetically, and 9.5+/10 functionally.

In Port Alberni.
