My son and I doubled up in Denham Bay. First year he's been able to run riggers and bring in fish like a pro, and getting into two together like this was fantastic.

It really is a great spot to fish on the inside for sure.

pulling up a Hali when trolling for salmon on the inside of Barkley sound is always a season highlight for me

And this because it feels awesome to be escaping the city at first light:

these Alberni sockeye fillets for first time in about 5 years and after fishing with 12 year old daughter and her friend.
Also getting out to Camper Creek with daughter to catch, release, see whales and experience this sunrise as the smoke was heading onto the coast.

From Our Ukee trip this past July. My oldest‘s first ever halibut and a dandy fish. Couldn’t have cut it much closer to the upper slot at 127cm.
