Another season getting near the end, show us your best shots guys and gals. Here is my brother in law with a nice (for this year) spring from the China creek area about 19 pounds. As you can see by his smile a good time was had! Good luck to those of you lucky enough to still be fishing for pacific chrome!

What a surreal moment this was. Fishing in the slop alongside Scotty 2tubs. A half hour earlier we caught and released a 41lb chinook, only to be outdone by this absolute TANK of a fish. Taped to 66lbs but I saw it with my own eyes and it looked all of 70, or more. Biggest chinook Ive ever seen in person on the salt.

Picture is a screenshot from my guests video shortly before the release. Guide is Scotty 2tubs the legend!

I like this one, not only does it capture a few thing, sunrise, Amphrite light house, fishing gear in action. But the cool part of it is we were at a gallery of Mark Hobson one afternoon in Tofino ( I really like his work) . I bought a small print of his of Amphrite that hit home for me, it was something I wanted for my west coast wall at home. After we were home and going through the pics the wife took she had captured this one. Almost the same position it seems like just further out.
The pic we took is now my current desktop at work.

Its always hard to pick just one, so here's three from the family cruising / fishing show in the Broughtons.

1. Sunset in Cullen Harbour near Gore Rock - meters from my wife's 40 lb halibut catch
2. Crib Island near Sunday Harbour
3. The worst photo, but the most fun - some of the 40+ sea otters that surrounded us between Malcolm and Cormorant Islands - also the scene of the best halibut bite of the day

On July 9th off of Beano at Nootka this 72cm spring jumped 6 or 7 times before I picked up the phone to take some pics. On this jump, the fish hit the side of the boat (briefly avoiding the net).

On the classic tomic plug, very nice. I had the 7 inch plug going good this year myself.

Interior run freshwater chinook got a couple finally after striking out 3 years in a row! Would have been better except for the 3 gill netters working kamloops lake :(
