I fish with autopilot almost exclusively unless I’m in some super cramped areas with other people. I find the worst thing about it is having to look forward. Haha

Terrible as in expensive. Pleased to confirm the 26 (not just the 30) can catch fish too.

Hah, we did. It’s the back-up mooching rod but it worked. Not trying to derail the thread and probably shouldn’t be posting when into the scotch. Point is I’ve had a Commander 26 for the past year and it’s a great boat for pretty much everything. What Sttr is doing to it will make it even better and can’t wait to see the final result!

Perfect time for the rain to come down…no dust, no bugs, just a few bees starting to get interested in the gel coat
8 passes done, looks thick and covered up very nice. A bit of sanding on the bow is needed to smooth her out

Great job! So when you spray 6 layers of gelcoat, are the first 5 without wax and only the 6th with wax?

Last layer is PVA, takes the tackiness out
