That would be some nice numbers to achieve! The plan will be a few ocean trips a year and maybe a couple lake trips around Golden. Hoping to get out to the coast in August with it.I helped with a pod re power on a 25’ Bertram twin 200s the boat did 57mph. I think you could be looking at similar results! Should be a fun ride!! your boat is in fresh or salt water?
I had mine out today and hit 48 mph. I need someone to drive next time so I can see how the motors are sitting in the water. How does a guy figure out the perfect prop set up?Just for comparison sake, I run mine a little under propped for those times I’m loaded up heavy so I can hit the redline fairly easily most days. Mine will do around 43mph wide open and cruise 28mph at 4250rpm roughly. They are great boats. Tough to find a better 26’ boat for cruising , camping and fishing.
Nice, that is quick. Well I’m no expert but to start id find out from Evinrude the recommended max rpm range for your engines, load the boat up fairly heavy and make sure at wide open throttle you are in the top end of that range.I had mine out today and hit 48 mph. Congrats. That's beautiful!Got her toes wet today, sits perfect and those g2's get up on plane fast![]()
