For the love of god, can we get at least one well-documented Commander pod project finished before we start with this?Going to lower the cockpit like "Sttr" did?
Thanks man she's a tank!Love your welding rig.
It’s coming buds…For the love of god, can we get at least one well-documented Commander pod project finished before we start with this?
Never doubted you for a secondIt’s coming buds…
The peanut gallery will have to wait
Ron would say :Cut open the floor a bit more than I wanted to. The port side had some rotten ply in the flooring so I cut it all out to start fresh. Stringers seem solid. I plan to add some thickness to the transom then gusset the transom to the stringers and potentially add 2 more stringers. I think I'll make the floor flat so storage is a bit more convenient as well. We'll see what Ron 4.0 has to say in a couple days .
Good plan on the flat floor. Mine is still original and it’s not very useful. I would recommend building a cover for the fuel pickups as well. I jumped down there and stepped on one of the brass pieces coming out of the tank and broke it while anchored in a bay up near Hakai. Luckily had some jb and it was enough to keep fuel running to that engine. Made it all the way back to French creek like that.Cut open the floor a bit more than I wanted to. Haha he's pretty chill!Does Ron 4.0 mind when you call him Rick
Infloor fish box or insulated totes already part of the commander design?I helped Rick build the gussets/floor platform today and we filled in the holes. He's going to fibreglass the outside than hop in and plywood the transom then fibreglass everything. Should be very solid once it's all tied together
Commanders have 2 small live wells up top. I think for this year I'll just use the storage room for coolers and my tender. I think I'm going to cut the hatch into 2 pieces for easier access though. It's a pain moving everything off the dance floor to access the storage.Infloor fish box or insulated totes already part of the commander design?
Mounted the pod today, little more paint and I'll mount the motors .Started fitting up the pod today while Rick finished the fibreglass. CJM Technologies did an absolute awesome job cutting this plate and Jarek at Conrad Yachts nailed the drawing .
Motors on, screwed up on my anode brackets, gotta relocate them. They just caught the edge of the motor mount brackets. Had to cut them off mid installation .Mounted the pod today, little more paint and I'll mount the motors .
