Thanks I needed a good laugh. Nice looking trailer, but plan on spending 2k and a day of work for two guys, to get her rolling. Just pressure was that old girl, and it might even sell for 2k, but truly, truly a $10 boat.

What do you mean by "US made"?Be interesting to see how this stacks up to boat show pricing. My buddy bought the US made non-custom version of this but without the locking doors just the drop curtain. The extras on this are not cheap.

There was a similar one up near Pacific Playgrounds on the old Island Highway. That's about the value of them but I agree that was a good deal, he probably would have got 29k if he listed just after the boat show.

That one’s a bit smaller than I’d like. The classic 18’ Outrage is kind of the sweet spot for what I’m looking for.
I was going to look at an 18’ Dauntless tomorrow but it sold yesterday. Asking price was $26k usd. The Dauntless is a much heavier hull (almost 2x dry weight) of the classic 18’ Outrage but still would have suited my needs. 140 Suzuki w ~70 hours.
The crux seems to be finding a nicer older hull that doesn’t have a period correct two stroke or an etec on the back.

Yeah my buddy sold his 18 Dauntless with new power a couple years back for a pretty penny. You'll find a good one, be patient grasshoper!

That ad text makes me laugh! Bragging about maintenance while saying that they didn't change the impeller for 12 years!! And the jibberish about the 50th Anniversary being an original hull with modern materials....this particular hull model was introduced in 2003 and other than the unique Whaler construction it has no similarities to the classic 15 or other earlier Whaler hulls.
