Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

That one’s a bit smaller than I’d like. The classic 18’ Outrage is kind of the sweet spot for what I’m looking for.

I was going to look at an 18’ Dauntless tomorrow but it sold yesterday. Asking price was $26k usd. The Dauntless is a much heavier hull (almost 2x dry weight) of the classic 18’ Outrage but still would have suited my needs. 140 Suzuki w ~70 hours.

The crux seems to be finding a nicer older hull that doesn’t have a period correct two stroke or an etec on the back.

Really nice boat but I must not value the power the same way he does.

I thought the Whaler tax was bad until I started looking at aluminum boats. But I agree: that asking price seems pretty insane. Hence my dismay at missing that classic 18’ with new power at a realistic price (which is why it sold in days).

There are a lot of sellers out there with unrealistic expectations. These days a 35-year-old two stroke is next to worthless on the used market, but people still list them at modern four stroke prices. And that’s why they haven’t sold their boat in a year. “Price is firm” = no sale.

Good morning Gents, I am selling our very well loved family boat. We are looking to move into something larger with more overnighting comforts. I bought this Weldcraft new in February 2019 from Sherwood Marine. It’s a 2017 Maverick 220 DV with pretty much everything on it to enjoy whatever adventure awaits.
The main has 520 hours and the kicker is around 300. The boat has been well looked after and maintained, I have all the service receipts.
Besse Marine did all the wiring professionally and installation of the electronics.
Boat sits on a Tuff trailer with new 8 ply Goodyear trailer tires.
I’ve installed:
Garmin GPSmap XSV Chartplotter with upgraded Garmin transducer-GT51M-TM
Garmin Radar
Icom VHF marine IC-M424G GPS radio
Espar diesel heater
Bennett electric trim tabs
Scotty HP downriggers/trap puller
Wash down pump
Dual bilge pumps
Lewmar windless pro series 1000 with reinforced mounting plate
WhoDat anodized aluminum radar/wakeboard tower
The boat has the larger 88 gallon fuel tank
Good for long excursions.
48” bench seats that convert into a bed.
Dual front window wipers
Dual front suspension seats

The boat has spent 50/50 time in fresh and salt water. Lots of time spent boat camping up Harrison, Stave and Shuswap lakes. Having the tower to pull a tube/skis/wakeboard really makes the boat versatile for making great memories on the water. Always flushed with SaltAway after our ocean excursions.

She can handle big water quite well. Every year we would do an annual freezer run trip to WCVI.
Including Nootka, Tofino and Ukee.
Boated out to Beano/Bajo, Big/little bank and all around Tofino. We’ve boat camped all over the Gulf islands too.

I’m listing the boat first here for
$128,000.00

i live in Mission and can arrange for SeaTrials at the PortMoody, Stave lake or Harrison lake boat launch’s.

Cheers,
Jon
