Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Telling someone they do not have a clue is not respectful, let’s move on. A 1997 boat is an ongoing project and the ad demonstrate that to anyone that lots of maintenance has been done and lots will need to be done. My brother has owned a 2000 bayliner and done more recreational boating than 99% of people, boating 12 months a year. It’s had its maintenance issues just like my friends and I who have replaced outboards, except his leg and block have never been replaced. Yes there are people who have had terrible I/O issues. I do my best not to slam BC boats unless they are laughable and or in the USA since I know there are members on here and if not someone knows the owner.
Makes sense Kael and I don’t make the rules around here but my opinion is that there should be zero commentary on any boat posting unless you have either owned that boat that has been posted or spent a lot of time on a boat that has been posted. If you are runnin around in a 17’ double eagle you have no business commenting on whether or not a 33’ whaler that you’ve never stepped foot on has enough horsepower. Not pointing the finger at you but just an example. The buy sell should be post and ghost unless you are the owner and want to comment.

Free speech bro. This is a discussion forum where we discuss things.

I get PM's and texts from members about boats, so some commentary here saves everyone a lot of time. There have been lots of boats I've posted that members have already checked out or know are dangerous, and it's great they commented. Nothing worse than sharing a boat and being ignorant that it is dangerous or FBAR. I personally didn't comment on the boat or post it, the owner sent me a nice enough direct message and I modified my moving on post. I wish there were pinned posts on here like on the Hull Truth. I've thought about posting elsewhere but I'm lazy. Everyone including me should have a thick skin, we are talking about our toys we aren't talking about condo and house prices, politics....
