5k price drop for 32 seasport hull. Not sure what a unique hull like this is worth. The one in Oak Bay has been for sale for ever it seems like https://www.facebook.com/share/14Mh3bpg9gJ/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Been listed for a while and a member took a hard look at it. It’s something I would look at in 2-3 years but it would be a project. With their choice of power and not taking care of the paint issues it makes me think there will be lots of other things so I’d guesstimate 100k in work. Power can be resold pretty easily which is nice. Hopefully it is rated for 600hp so any big block 200-300 twins could be popped on there.Looks like a decent deal on an '08 Lifetimer Discovery 27' for $159K. Needs another 40k in exterior work, but then you have a really nice rig. https://www.facebook.com/share/1BYTt8wcYb/
This boat is absolutely immaculate.

Could be. I’m not exactly sure when they changed the helm seat to the newer style, or the logo. Kitchenette set up is the same as my mid 90’s 24. Nice looking boat. They don’t come up often.I thought it may be a bit newer like 2005. Sink under the seat and the stove are cool options
ad certainly doesn't help -- love the MS paint technology5k price drop for 32 seasport hull. Not sure what a unique hull like this is worth. The one in Oak Bay has been for sale for ever it seems like https://www.facebook.com/share/14Mh3bpg9gJ/?mibextid=wwXIfr
Does the 24 have a stand up head? Or is that extended cab version vs standard?Could be. I’m not exactly sure when they changed the helm seat to the newer style, or the logo. Kitchenette set up is the same as my mid 90’s 24. Nice looking boat. They don’t come up often.
very underpowered for west coast. anyone know the fuel capacity on these?Been listed for a while and a member took a hard look at it. I wonder what the specs are compared to mine. I have twin 150s and don't find it underpowered at all. I think mine is something like 27-28 LOA? Has to be similar in weight though.very underpowered for west coast. anyone know the fuel capacity on these?
load it up, bring it out and climb some hills. bring chicken.I wonder what the specs are compared to mine. I have twin 150s and don't find it underpowered at all. I think mine is something like 27-28 LOA? Has to be similar in weight though.
Both. 2400 Explorer has stand up head. Popular with the ladies. It has an extended cabin with the same dance floor as the 2200. The 2400 xl (shorter cab) has a head under the v-birth, much like the 2200. The 2400 xl has the same cabin as the 2200, with a bigger dance floor.Does the 24 have a stand up head? Or is that extended cab version vs standard?
I'm friggen dying to do just that. Bamfield is a-callin'load it up, bring it out and climb some hills. bring chicken.
i also compare my old kingfisher. 2625, 9'6" beam.. 300 was just enough and it was a lighter boat.I wonder what the specs are compared to mine. I have twin 150s and don't find it underpowered at all. I think mine is something like 27-28 LOA? Has to be similar in weight though.
You're right though about the big swell offshore needing more juice. I could see me having push the rpms a little more than I'd like to for long periods of time. I'm doing 30 knots at 5200 rpm. My easy cruise is 24 knots at 4200-4400. There's no hill climbing on the inside whatsoever though, so who knows how much more I'd be pushing it. Either way I'm going 200s when the time comes, because why not?i also compare my old kingfisher. 2625, 9'6" beam.. 300 was just enough and it was a lighter boat.
I asked the owner if they had played with props happy with performance etc. They said "5k rpm 30kn, dirty hull and still trying to figure out trim tabs." That crane, pot puller, tender, second steering station, 100 gallon gas, 20 water 6 hot water, she all adds up. I wouldn't be surprised if it had 1000lbs on your ride maybe 500 when you have the fried chicken setup on board. I think it is usable with the 150hp, but they have good resale right now.I wonder what the specs are compared to mine. I have twin 150s and don't find it underpowered at all.
