I figure a guy would say the motor runs if trying to sell a boat. If I was the seller and the motor ran fine with high hours, I’d put that in the ad, and leave the opinion on whether or not it needs to be replaced up to the potential buyer.

Those 542 and 552 Campion boats have a 7’11” beam, my Grady White Seafarer has an 8’1” beam, those Campions are wide for their length. I had my 542 in some crazy water and they do very well.

Pulling a 100hp Yamaha off the boat. It just had all the carbs redone at Sherwood Marine. Has a run issue between 2200 rpm and 3200rpm. Runs great outside of that. Offers or will part out.
