Are those Morse mechanical controls in tandem? Pretty rare to see those throttles with Yamahas. Guess they didn’t want to go with a mechanical front throttle for the main and a mechanical cockpit throttle for the rear steering station?
Good question. It could have one of each controling the main and kicker, or just the kicker..? Not sure. The front binnacle could be mechanical, which means that the rear helm could be controled from older style Morse controls.
That thing needs another 150hp to make ends meet although the hull is beauty!
This boat is right up the road from me. Walk by it all the time. Looks good. The bottom paint is faded but so what.
Its a first year 4.2l (15 years old). Its a real gamble on the power. I'd put 10k value on the power package including controls.

This was just like the first boat that we had in our family growing up in Campbell River in the 70's. It was a light, pretty seaworthy boat. Was fast for the time with the biggest outboard you could get back then, a big, tall, black and red 100hp Merc. Did a lot of fishing and exploring in the boat as a kid. Nice boat - but one seat!? Guy really likes to fish alone - if you want to come along you get the prison bench.
